Privacy Policy
Myeonglore (the "Service") is operated by BIG DIPPER Co., Ltd. ("we"). We keep personal data to a minimum. Effective date: October 22, 2026.
1. What we process
- Birth date, birth time, gender and birthplace city: entered by you to calculate your Saju (Four Pillars, 四柱八字) chart. Your birth date is personal data; birth time and gender are optional. The birthplace city is used only for time-zone and longitude adjustment. Entry and calculation happen entirely in your browser; we do not send or store them on any server. After calculation the inputs remain only in your browser's memory and disappear when you close the page or clear them.
- Chart data: the calculated eight characters, luck cycles, element distribution and other derived indicators. The free basic reading creates and displays these in your browser only and sends nothing to a server. Only your language and display choices are kept in your browser storage, which you can clear.
- No accounts: the Service does not create accounts and does not ask for your name, phone number or address.
- Usage and device data: minimal data needed to run the Service, such as error logs [final list at launch].
- Advertising ID: in the free version, ad partners may process your device advertising ID. You can opt out in device settings [ad partner named at launch].
- Payments: handled by external payment providers by card. We never receive card details.
- Support messages: the email address and content you send us.
2. Purpose and retention
To deliver readings, confirm purchases, answer support requests and improve the Service. Support messages are kept for 3 years after resolution, or longer where the law requires.
3. Sharing and processors
We do not share or transfer your birth details. The free basic reading sends nothing off your device. Only if you request a paid detailed reading is the chart data described in 3-1 sent to a processor to generate the commentary.

3-1. Paid detailed reading (optional) and research records
When you request a paid detailed reading, only the calculated chart data (the eight characters, luck cycles and derived indicators such as element balance) and the questions you type are sent through our server to an external language-model provider, which writes the commentary. Your name and any birth information beyond what the reading needs are not sent, and we ask the provider not to store the request (store=false). Results are cached on the server for a limited time, keyed by a hash of the chart data, and then deleted; after that the reading is generated again. Please do not put your name, contact details or other identifying information in your questions.
Research records (optional) keep chart data without the birth date and time as pseudonymised data to improve our interpretation rules (Korean Personal Information Protection Act, Art. 28-2 — statistical and scientific research). No birth date, name or email is included, and nothing is kept unless you consent. Retention is 5 years, after which records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised; we do not attempt re-identification.
4. Children
The Service is not for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
5. Availability
In phase 1 the Service is not offered in the United States.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction at any time by emailing support@myeonglore.com. Inputs and settings kept in your browser are removed when you clear the browser's site data.
