Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Myeonglore (myeonglore.com and related services, the "Service"), operated by BIG DIPPER Co., Ltd. (the "Company"). Effective 22 October 2026.

1. What the Service is

The Service calculates a Saju (Four Pillars, 四柱八字) chart in your own browser from the birth date, birth time (optional), gender (optional) and birthplace city you enter, and presents an interpretation in the manner of traditional East Asian Myeongni (destiny-reading) studies. It is entertainment and cultural content, not a prediction of the future nor a scientifically validated forecast or diagnosis, and must not be used as the basis for medical, legal, financial, hiring, marriage or investment decisions.

2. Your obligations

• Enter another person's birth details only with their consent.
• Do not use the Service to screen, select, evaluate or otherwise disadvantage people (hiring, credit, etc.).
• Do not copy or redistribute the Service's texts, rules or images for commercial purposes.
• Users under 14 may not purchase paid services without a legal guardian's consent.

3. Free and paid services

The basic reading is free, so you can try the Service before paying. The paid detailed reading and its price are listed on the Pricing page; prices include VAT. The detailed reading is digital content generated and delivered immediately after payment. No account is required.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by card through the Company's external payment provider; accepted methods are shown at checkout. The Company does not store card numbers. Exchange rates and foreign-transaction fees for international cards follow your card issuer's policy.

5. Withdrawal and refunds

See the Refund Policy. Under Article 17(2) of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the right of withdrawal for digital content may be restricted once the detailed reading has been delivered; the Company states this before payment and obtains your consent. The free basic reading lets you try the Service first.

6. Privacy

Birth details you enter are calculated only in your browser and are not stored on a server. What is sent for a paid detailed reading is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Service's texts, rules, design and images belong to the Company. Readings you save may be used freely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Changes and discontinuation

The Company may improve or change the Service and will give notice of changes affecting paid services. If the Company discontinues a paid service before it has been delivered, the corresponding amount is refunded.

9. Disclaimer

The Company does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of readings and is not liable for decisions made on their basis, nor for losses caused by events beyond its control, except in cases of the Company's wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Disputes

Questions and complaints: support@myeonglore.com (reply within 10 business days). Korean law governs; consumers may seek mediation from the Korea Consumer Agency or a competent body in their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

Changes are announced on this page 7 days before taking effect (30 days for changes unfavourable to users).
